I have avoided the Gelli plate as not sure I like the clearing up bit either.
SuexxxAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4300605915626205297.post-58101543328428132052013-11-02T16:26:24.954+00:002013-11-02T16:26:24.954+00:00Your angel's aqua edging really highlights the...Your angel's aqua edging really highlights the little streaks of aqua in the background beautifully. Your red mat picks up the other background colour & the two in (aqua edging plus red mat) tie the whole design in beautifully. The combination of Gothic script with the traditional angel image put me in mind of Advent, add the woodgrain plus gold & my brain was travelling back into the time of Gothic cathedrals…….. Like you I didn't like the sound of painty mess so have avoided the Gelli completely. Now inks is another matter - very interesting indeed.
Paula (PEP)Paula (PEP)https://www.blogger.com/profile/17869890939386052501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4300605915626205297.post-6898654713289335962013-11-02T08:48:26.220+00:002013-11-02T08:48:26.220+00:00This looks amazing Debbie. Do the ink pads stain the plate? Rally looking forward to seeing what else you've made.

Sue xSue's Crafty Cornerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06768968818725130718noreply@blogger.com
