90 days and counting
Well we've just found out today that DH will be out of a job. We've worried about this for the last 8 years. things have been gloomy before nad just when we're exhausted of worrying it's here. My Mum lived with the saying K-sera K-sera what will be will be. That's become a often used saying. So here we go on an another rolloer coaster section of our lives. Card making hopefully will keep my sanity in tact.
Pic of Amy a few years ago a shopping spree at the Metro Centre.

Early mornings
Our new addition is waking early in the morning (5.30). It's fine when your not at work but draining when your working and the school behind you is being rebuilt. The builders were working till 11.30 last night and then started again at 5.30 this morning. I'll describe the noise as someone mowing the lawn in your front garden and the window is cracked open. Lovely huh. I'm not the best of sleepers and my sons in the back bedroom which is nearer to them. He's got GCSEs starting today. Not good. I'll be speaking to someone today to try and find out if this is legal as I think this is going to be wearing if it's long term. Well a lighter note, we took Archie out for his first proper walk on Sunday and he was well behaved. Work has been busy and a friend asked me to make a couple of cards that she needed within days. I've felt pressured to get them done. Don't mind a little pressure but not when tired.

Wearing red
I popped into Tina's Crafty Cards for a nosey. Follow the link to have a read why I'll be wearing red on Friday. http://tinascraftycards.blogspot.com/2009/04/please-wear-red-on-friday.html#comment-form
Simply Irresistible
Yestersday it was our 19th wedding Ann. We had booked to go and see Simply Red at Newcastle Arena. Wow. It was a the best we've seen them. I danced and sang for 2 hours. I can't believe how much I ache today, I feel like I've got the legs and back of a 90 year old. (It was worth it)
Archie ahs settled in now and is now starting to be trainned. Because he's going to be big we can't have him jumping up or chewing on us. I think it's going to be a long process and I sure he's responding. Although i think my hubby might need more training than the dog.
I've been playing with my brayer today and love the results every time. The colours are so vibrant. I used the glossy card from the Graphicus multi card pack.
I bought a few of the copic ciao pens and love them. There are no lines from the colouring. I love watercolouring but sometimes a pen works better. The shading effects great.
