A single Mackintosh Flower

Hello. I love the elegance of these Mackintosh Beauty Stamps. His style is so popular being recreated in cross stitch, furniture, glass and many other home furnishing. I don't think it will ever go out of fashion.

I've made an A5 card and I wanted to extend the design to fill the card so stamped the flower panel onto white card and coloured with pens. I mounted onto red card and fixed to the card. With a ruler and fine tip black pen and laid the ruler across the stamped panel then drew the lines. I echoed the design on the white card.
Many thanks for stopping by Debbie

This is a beauty Debbie - the way you have extended those lines from the stamped image itself looks terrific & gives such a sense of flowing movement even though the lines are geometric in nature. I love the way the eye is drawn into the coloured panel & then seduced by the white space to investigate where the lines go…….

I came across your blog today for the first time via the Chocolate Baroque blog & I just had to say that your work is just so stunning. I had a quick skim through your older posts but I'll be back with a mug of coffee & will enjoy taking a better look & just absorb your creativity. Thank you
