Paper Block Canvas

I was fortunate to be part of a lovely group of Ladies at a workshop weekend being taught by Hels Sheridan. We worked on two projects and I thoroughly enjoyed making them. Like all workshops the time flies and the weekend was over so I had another go at the projects.

Here is the first a paper pieced canvas with the biggest flower I've ever made.

This is the second canvas I made at home using my Prima En Francais paper pad. I love this paper and now I can admire it rather than give it away on cards. My flowers aren't as big as on the first, I used a flower stamp from Chocolate Baroque. The embellishment is very special to me as it was made as a necklace at a retreat a few years ago and I rarely wear it.

Tomorrow I'll post a few photos of the other project I made.

Thanks for stopping by
Debbie

Both of these canvases are stunning, if I had to pick a favorite though it would be the second.

These are both very individual with their own characteristics. The second one even more so because of the way you used your special embellishment & your adaption of the floral idea from the first. Those CB Big Flowers remain a firm favourite with me & don't they match beautifully with those stylised leaves?
