cards for friends

I love colouring in stamped images. I colour with pens, sakura pens, watercolours and pastels. Here are a few I've made to send. The book was made to go in the school nursery raffle.

Busy Saturday

Went to see Kabaret last night at Sunderland Empire, it was brill. I was worried about Wayne Sleep taking his kit off, fortunately we were far enough back when it happened. I feel like I've not stopped today. Few cards I wanted to make and then off to shop for my sons 16th b'day. DH did the b'day shopping and I detouredintto M&S for a new pair of shoes. I have to be careful cos I have a Bakers Cyst in the back of my knee and need to choose carefully. Went out for a meal and because hubby is at work tomorrow Jack opened his pressies early.

Thanks to Lorraine

I went to a wire work workshop on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Here are some of the results.

New Year starting the spring cleaning

Didn't realize what a mammoth task it would be to decorate my craft room. Well worth the effort.

I bought these stamps from a lady called Sue in America. The rate of exchange was good at the time. I love painting them. I used them to make an engagement card for a friends daughter.

My DD photos of her 18th, I was very proud of her. I made the flowers for the cake.

Busy transfering

My DH has bought me a new laptop as my computer was becoming quite unreliable. It's taking a little time to find my way around vista. I'm transfering pics to keep them safe and files that are invaluable. Here are some recent pics from recently purchased cds.

New Year

We take inspiration from some very clever people. I constantly find myself revisiting blogs and forums all around the world. In my little corner of the web I like to post pics of cards that are some of my favourites. This year I'm going to try and blog most days. (Let's see how long it lasts).
Some of the Graphicus stamps I used to make Christmas presents. My favourite ink at the moment is London Fog as recommended by Lesley at Graphicus. Thanks.
