Inspiration from Scotland

A friend from work posted a photograph of her Christmas holidays with her family in Scotland. The colours of the mountains and the snow in the distance inspired me to have a play with my distress inks, masks and stamps.
This was the second card I made as I gave the first to my friend. Here are a few more using different arrangements and colours. I also took inspiration from Glendas blog placing the trees at the edge of the lake.
I changed the colour combinations giving a very different feeling to the scenes.
The trees are from the Terrific Treescapes clear stamps from Chocolate Baroque. Thanks for visiting Debbie

I love these - particularly the last one. Brilliant seeing the difference that the colours make too. I had that stamp set for Christmas so am ready to have a play with it. I especially like the effect of the lake....... quite dynamic in the way that perspective is heightened by that.

These are all gorgeous and though i don't know Scotland well the misty feel seems so right.
