I can't believe how the weeks are flying by and we are nearly half way through the year. Unfortunately the weather hasn't been playing fair, we had three days together that were lovely and the layers were thrown off hopefully that wasn't out summer.
The stamps I've used for this card are from the Punky Flowers stamps and I think they are so quirky. I love that the flowers hint at it being a lamp shades. I stamped the flowers onto adhesive backed paper, coloured the flowers with pens and added a little gold stickles to the edges then cut it out. The background is distress inks and the edges are another of the flowers made up from cogs.
Happy crafting

You lit up my morning beatifully with this. I love the way your blue edge overstamping resulted in various colours as it overlapped the different backgrounds & how your glowing lamps are placed onto the pink portion yet echo the bottom section. There's a lovely lot of movement in this & your elegant black & white matting finishes the whole beautifully.

I second what Pauls says. It's a very beautiful card. A very tranquil feel to it. Hugs x ChrisB
