A little bird said, "Happy Birthday"

I recently bought a new mask that I had been looking for to play with. It was tucked behind others on a stand at a craft show. I wanted to have a play before I used the mask on a larger piece so folded a card to A5 size and placed the mask at the bottom of the card. I used a couple of distress inks and blended them carefully as I only wanted a few wavy lines. The little bird, bubble and sentiment are from Happy Words and Birds clear stamps from Chocolate Baroque, great for younger persons cards.

On a completely different subject, today I'll be going back to the 1930s. The school I work at is 75 years old this year and we are celebrating today by dressing up in the eras clothing. I've made a dress and when it was finished yesterday I put it on and my hubby told me I looked like Miss Marple and my sister commented it looked like something my Grandma would wear. Mission accomplished I think.

Have a lovely sunny day and thanks for visiting.

That mask looks great & I love the colours you used. Nice when you find such little gems tucked away.
Sounds like your mission was well accomplished indeed with the dressing.
