Snowflakes during the Summer

I'm over the moon to have made a start with my cards for Christmas and the Big Bold Backgrounds certainly have helped with the massive task I know we all have at making so many.

For this card I stamped the Solid Snowflake onto white card with Versamark Ink and coloured with chalks that have been in my stash for years. I used traditional red with brown as I wanted a vintage looking card. For the baubles I stamped the Snowflake Outline and embossed with Wow Red Glitz embossing powder, it sparkles beautifully. I placed the bauble die carefully on the stamped card and managed to die cut two from the same piece of card. To help the bauble stand out from the background softly edge with vintage photo distress ink. Finishing with a couple of bows, some stickles dots and a sentiment these stamps are going to help with batch card making.

Thank you for visiting.

A Beautiful Christmas card. I love the colours you have chosen, and how you have inked around the edge of the baubles to make them stand out. Hugs x ChrisB

Your Vintage Photo edging is ever so effective with these & I love your colours - my chalks are languishing too.....
