When it just comes together

I'm sure when making cards lots of people have an idea in their mind and become frustrated when what you want to do doesn't quite happen. Well this card was made for a friend at work to give for a friends birthday. I knew she wanted some sort of flowers so the Peony fit the bill beautifully.

It fit perfectly into the Nestablities Elegant label and I cut the other frames to go underneath. I mounted onto a pink piece of card and attached to the paper covered square card. I tied a large bow and added a few flat back pearls. It's lovely when you get comments about what we make and apparently she loved it.

My DT buddy Lesley Wharton is blogging every day for a month and this has inspired me to try and blog and share more. Fingers crossed I'm going to keep it up.

Many thanks for visiting
Debbie

I love the way those pearls bring out the shimmer of the ribbon & how delicate the whole looks with the pinks & the die-cut panels. The die-cut panels work beautifully with the patterned paper.
All the best with your blogging venture.
